„As he (Jesus) was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” (Matthew 4:18, 19)

When fishermen in the first century wanted to have a good catch, they had to be patient, work hard and be willing to endure setbacks. Those who accepted Jesus' invitation to join him to create followers, also needed such qualities to become good "fishermen of men".

In border areas between hot and cold, dark and light, we find the most life. For example, algae are eaten by krill and krill, on its turn, by various fish. Life is always looking for a border zone. In these areas there is the most activity, life is present there in all its exuberance, quality, quantity, form and color. Precisely there, in the transitional areas, are the most rare and most fascinating animals and plants found.
